Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Entrepreneur Today collects when you visit this site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have written it to be read, not to be hidden behind.
Who we are
Entrepreneur Today is the publisher of this site. For privacy questions, you can reach us at privacy@todays-entrepreneur.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you contact us, or sign up for a newsletter where one is offered, we collect what you provide, such as your email address.
- Information collected automatically. Like most sites, we automatically collect technical information when you visit, including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies. See ourCookie / Tracking Notice →for the detail and your choices.
Advertising and analytics technologies, including the Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel and may use similar advertising and analytics technologies. The Meta Pixel is a piece of code that reports activity on this site back to Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It helps measure the performance of advertising and understand how visitors use the site.
Under the GDPR, for visitors in jurisdictions where it applies, the operator of this site and Meta act as joint controllers for the data collected by the Meta Pixel.
Cross-domain measurement
When you click through from a piece on this site to a partner's assessment or destination site (for example, an assessment hosted on rise.inspirean.com), we may add measurement parameters to the link so that the visit can be connected to the piece you came from. This link decoration can include values such as a visitor identifier, an event identifier, advertising identifiers (for example, the Meta _fbp value and fbclid), and campaign parameters (utm_*). This lets us and our partner understand which content led to a visit. We disclose this here so you know the handoff is happening; the destination site has its own privacy policy that governs what it does with your information once you arrive.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the site, to measure and improve the performance of our advertising, to respond to you when you contact us, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who help us run the site and our advertising, including advertising and analytics platforms such as Meta, as described above. We do not sell your personal information for money. Depending on your jurisdiction, certain advertising activity may count as "sharing" or "sale" under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA; where it does, you have the right to opt out. See "Your choices" below.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to opt out of certain advertising-related sharing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact us at privacy@todays-entrepreneur.com. You can also manage cookies through ourCookie / Tracking Notice →and through your browser settings.
- GDPR (EU/UK and similar): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent and to complain to a supervisory authority.
- CCPA/CPRA (California) and similar US state laws: the right to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
